Christian Death ist eine der besten Gothic-Bands, das Subgenre ist Death Rock. Von 1979 bis 1984 war Rozz Williams das Mastermind der Band, seitdem ist Valor Kand der Boß der Band. Anscheinend bringt http://www.rozznet.com/ seit Anfang 2010 irgendwelche Lost Recordings heraus von Anfang der 1980er, als Rozz so um die 18 war, krass (siehe Links).
Der Sänger der ersten fünf Jahre Rozz Williams hat von 1992 bis 1995 mit einer zweiten Band sieben(?) Alben unter dem Namen "Christian Death featuring Rozz Williams" veröffentlicht. Diese sind ... . Rozz beging 1998 Selbstmord ohne Abschiedsbrief.

Christian Death hat vor der Spaltung vier Alben gemacht. Die Rozz-Abspaltung hat bis 1995 noch ca. sieben Alben herausgebracht, teilweise mit üblen Liveaufnahmen. Die Hauptband mit Valor hat bis 2007 ca. neunzehn Alben gemacht.

Das erste Album Only Theatre of Pain hat ursprünglich 10 Stücke und dauert 32:20 min (1982), auf Frontier Records, die Widerveröffentlichung (1993) enthält noch die Deathwish-EP mit 6 Stücken und dauert 52:21 min.
Dies ist das Super-Kult-Album. Rozz war 18 !
